Many people who attend bluegrass festivals are playing themselves, often breaking into spontaneous jam sessions, let the fun begin, their trying to set up an open mike event for the Friday night of the festival.

The Rotary Club will be joined by the Legion, the Minden Kinsmen and members of the fair board who will run the beer garden, food stand and other amenities as they do some fundraising for their organizations.

The club is hoping for between 400 and 500 attendees and their still looking for additional volunteers to help out with any number of jobs.
